Alan Bradish from the Homeless Shelter in Jacksonville is soliciting assistance in gathering clean (it doesn’t have to be new) blankets for folks at the shelter. They’re asking for hooded sweatshirts (not new but clean) for men and women. MUMC will have tubs/boxes outside the north door of the church building for people to drop off blankets and hooded sweatshirts. If you have any of these items lying around at home, just wash them and drop them off at the church. We will start collecting from November 23rd, to December 4th: 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
